ABOUT SPENCER GERMANY
Spencer Germany is a music educator, conductor, and composer from Memphis, Tennessee.
Composing since his teen years, he has had premieres with featured performances by multiple choirs across Tennessee and the Southeastern US. Spencer holds a BM in Music Education from Middle Tennessee State University and serves as the Choir Director at Central Magnet School in Murfreesboro, TN, where he teaches middle and high school choir to over 160 students.
As an educator, Spencer has been teaching choirs for 10 years. Specializing in developing choirs, Spencer has a fervent passion for bringing music education to every type of student. He is also a Summer Masters Student in Choral Conducting at the University of South Carolina.
As a choral composer, Spencer has been noted as having a sense of vitality and excitement in his music. His works have been performed at various choral festivals across the country, including a recent premiere of his arrangements of "How Great Thou Art" and "Tennessee Waltz" by the Middle Tennessee State University choral ensembles and "Stay Yet, My Friends" by the Bach Society of Dayton.
